Questions about marionette lines
Will my face look overfilled?+
That look comes from filling the line itself until it is propped up. Dr. Mauer puts the volume back where it went missing, higher in the cheek, and stops at what your face carries. His patients say in their own reviews that people notice they look rested and cannot say why.
Can you just fill the line instead?+
A very small amount does go into a deep fold at the end, once the cheek is supported. On its own it tends to look like a filled line, which is why the cheek comes first.
Does it hurt?+
Numbing cream goes on first, and most people describe pressure rather than pain. The appointment runs 30 to 60 minutes.
How long will it last?+
12 to 18 months for most people. Hyaluronic acid filler can also be dissolved, so the decision is reversible.
